To help protect our vulnerable patients and the community, Maxim Street GPs are now offering phone consults for appropriate matters.
MEDICARE BULK BILLED phone consults are available for the following existing patients: 1. diagnosed with COVID-19 or 2. required to be self-quarantined in accordance with Government Guidance or 3. at least 70 yrs old or 4. at least 50 yrs old and is of ATSI descent or 5. pregnant or 6. parent of a child under 12 months or 7. under treatment for a chronic health condition or is immune compromised
If you do NOT meet the above criteria, you may also book a phone consult however the Medicare rebate is NOT available and a $40 fee (standard consult <15 mins) applies.
Phone consults are available for all matters where appropriate.

We CANNOT test for coronavirus at our practice.
If you have travelled overseas or been in contact with any confirmed/suspected case AND you have cold or flu symptoms, please DO NOT ATTEND THE PRACTICE. Please call the Government Coronavirus Hotline immediately on 1800 022 222 and call us for follow up if you have further questions.
